Configuration of a free-field PV power plant with uneven terrain and property lines (own work) (ruderal areas (lat. rudus = debris) are natural soils that are neither fertilised nor enhanced with garden soil, compost or peat. In most cases, the base consists of gravel, which includes various sizes of stones and may also contain a portion of sand. On this substrate develops a plant community that corresponds to the natural local diversity [30]
